2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 4,800 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 8 years to get that many views.

to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

This week the school has been hit by a cold virus. We hope everyone gets better in time for Christmas Day.
This week pupils enjoyed the parties and Key Stage 1 enjoyed a visit from Father Christmas. Thank you to the P.A and everyone who helped out.
This morning we enjoyed our Carol Celebration at St Christopher’s. Well Done to all the pupils who helped lead the worship. Christopher and William for leading Once in Royal David’s city, the Readers, the Barber Shop Choir, Year 3 and 4 for their Bell Carol, Year 5 who sang Torches and the school choir who sang Star of Bethlehem and Snow business.
Rev. Andy March dressed up as a donkey and reminded us about the birth of Jesus.
Yesterday we said good bye to Mrs Barratt who has worked at the school for 12 years. We would like to thank her for her commitment to the school over that time. She has worked in all year groups at different times and has supported many pupils in different ways. We wish her well as she goes to share her experience elsewhere.
Please pray for all those who will have little to celebrate during this festive time.
Thank you for all the cards and messages of support. They are much appreciated.
